Relax and reconnect with prenatal spa treatments and mindful wellness experiences designed to support expecting parents.

Before the nursery comes together and the countdown to baby truly begins, there's a fleeting window to slow down and savor this moment together.

At Canyon Ranch — previously named one of the top babymoon destinations in the U.S. — a getaway for parents-to-be offers an intentional pause to rest, reconnect, and be present with what’s changing, both physically and emotionally.

Discover how a babymoon can help you feel more grounded, cared for, and ready for what comes next.

What Exactly is a Babymoon — and Why Take One?

This is your chance to take a breath and focus on what you need most in this season of your life. That could be relaxation, meaningful time with your partner, or gentle experiences that support your whole well-being — mind, body, and spirit. Choosing the right timing, prioritizing safe activities, and approaching the trip with intention can transform a simple getaway into a deeply memorable part of this journey.

When To Go: OB-GYN Approved Timing

Most experts recommend that the sweet spot for a babymoon is in the second trimester, between 14 and 28 weeks. During this time, many expectant parents feel more comfortable and energized, making travel and new experiences easier. It’s also a safer period before the final trimester, when travel may become more challenging. Planning your getaway during this phase allows you to fully enjoy the relaxation and wellness activities that help prepare you for the months ahead.

Why Choose Canyon Ranch for Your Babymoon

While we don't currently offer a babymoon-specific package, we do have several experiences that can work for expecting parents. From relaxing spa therapies and prenatal-friendly wellness programming to serene settings that encourage deep relaxation, many of our offerings can be personalized to support a meaningful pre-baby stay.

We recommend carving out time for simple mindfulness practices, be it early morning sun salutations or a walk through one of our stunning natural landscapes. Our all-inclusive resorts also promote quality time and peace of mind.

Safe Wellness Services for Moms-to-Be

Designed specifically for pregnant guests, these Canyon Ranch prenatal treatments help relieve common discomforts while promoting deep relaxation and connection for both mom and baby.

Coconut Melt Massage  This prenatal massage uses warm coconut poultice balls to gently warm and soothe tired, overworked muscles. The warmth helps ease tension in your back, hips, and shoulders while encouraging relaxation and circulation. The experience concludes with a goat milk coconut cream, leaving your skin soft, nourished, and hydrated.

Hands, Feet, and Scalp Massage

This calming treatment focuses on areas that hold the most tension during pregnancy. A soothing scalp massage flows into the neck and shoulders to release stress, followed by gentle work on your hands and forearms, and a restorative foot massage to ease fatigue and promote comfort.

Hydrating Body Bar Treatment  This nourishing body treatment features the Kate McLeod Prenatal Body Stone, a lotion bar that melts into a rich oil as it glides across your skin. Designed to support elasticity during pregnancy, it hydrates dry skin while helping reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The warm botanical oils provide gentle relaxation while leaving you supple and glowing.
